Today we launch the opening of our New Student Shed Community. This is a community built for students who are looking for a more engaging and dynamic way to prepare for their BJC and BGCSE exams.
Check out the video walk through below to learn more.
When you sign up you can choose between 2 different membership plans.
- The Student Shed Community only or
- Both a Course and Community
Let’s first take a look at the Community Plan.
When you first log in you will see the general activity feed of the latest posts, resources and events published in the general community area.
Any contributions made by students will be posted here as well.
On the Discovery page, you get a snapshot of the featured posts, members and topics in the community. It’s a good place to get an overview of what is taking place in the overall community.
On the Topics page, students can follow different topics in the community. These include the Monthly Meetup, Community Polls, Video Watch Parties, Student Highlights, Q&A and Downloads and Printables.
On the Events page, students can see a list of all of the upcoming events associated with the plan that they are subscribed to. For example, if a student is subscribed to the Social Studies Course and Community Plan, they will see a listing of all of the live Social Studies workshops and general community workshops which are coming up.
The Second plan is the Course and Community Plan.
You may subscribe to as many or little amount of courses as you wish. However once you do, you’ll get access to all existing and upcoming course material including videos, handouts, quizzes, downloads, past paper answer resources etc.
Within each course, there is a separate set of “Topics” which are specifically related to that course. These include the regular Deep Dive live workshops along with Downloads & Printables.
So there you have it, we’ve looked at what’s available for you in this private support community. We will be adding more videos, live workshops, downloads and support exclusively created for members of our community.
Come join us today and I look forward to seeing you on the inside.
