📢 Big News! Introducing Swapadilly Learning 🎉
Over the summer, our team has been working on something exciting, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with you!
A few months ago, I mentioned that we’d be discontinuing our Student Shed Tutoring service. That change took effect in June, and since then, we’ve been building something new, something better. It’s still tutoring, but with a modern, flexible twist.
After 14 years of supporting Bahamian students through The Student Shed, one thing has become clear: many students need individualized, one-on-one attention to truly succeed. Over the past two years, we’ve provided that support through our tutoring services, but we knew the experience could be even better, especially for parents and students.
To learn more about it, watch the video or keep reading below.
💡 What We Wanted to Improve
Here’s what we set out to change:
- No more waiting for someone in the office to assign a tutor.
- No more admin back-and-forth before getting started.
- More flexibility. More control. More empowerment for families.
That’s why we created Swapadilly Learning, a new tutoring platform that puts the power directly into the hands of parents and students.
🔍 What Is Swapadilly Learning?
Swapadilly is a learning platform where you choose your tutor.
Parents can visit the site, browse through a curated list of experienced tutors (many of whom have been with us for 2, 3, even 4 years), and book sessions directly. No middleman.
You can:
- View tutor profiles
- Watch intro videos to get a feel for their teaching style
- Message tutors directly to explain your child’s specific needs
- Book free 30-minute trial lessons (where available)
- Choose from flexible lesson plans that renew monthly
📆 About Our Learning Plans
We offer several affordable monthly learning plans to fit your child’s needs and schedule. Whether you need just a few lessons a month or more consistent weekly support, there’s a plan for you.
And here’s the best part:
When you choose a learning plan, you can use your tutoring hours across multiple tutors and subjects.
That means more flexibility — especially for students taking several exams or needing support in different areas.
Need Math help one week and English the next? No problem. Your hours are yours to use how you choose.
🎯 Who Is It For?
Swapadilly tutors provide targeted support for:
- GLAT
- BJC
- BGCSE
- And select international exams
Our tutors are trained in the Bahamian curriculum and understand the challenges local students face — whether they’re in traditional school, private school, or homeschooled.
📘 Free Student Study Planner
To help students stay organized and motivated throughout the year, we’re also offering a free Student Study Planner for the 2025 school year.
This printable and digital planner is packed with pages to help students track goals, plan study schedules, manage assignments, and more. It’s our gift to help students start the school year strong.
You can download the planner here and begin using it right away.
